How to treat infections. First and foremost, what kind of infections infecting you? Second, what is infection once and for all? Third, how it spreads?

Viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites are the most common causes of infections. Thus, cases of infections are infinite.

The “infection” comes from Latin roots infectus, the past participle of inficere, meaning “to put in, stain, dye, dip, or taint,” Meanwhile in late Latin infectio into Middle English (infeccio(u)n) around the 14th century that means invasion by disease-causing agents or contamination.

Now to treat it, you must know first what infected you.

Infections are invasive by nature. If you do not know what infected you, it will get worst. So, what you need to do? In the event that you are feeling any weird symptoms or signs and even discomfort it is either you do treat it yourself or you will ask for doctor’s help.

The constraints of DIY (do it yourself) is that you are not 100% sure what kind of infections you got whether a virus, bacteria, fungi, or parasites.

If you buy antibiotics, it won’t kill fungi. So, in case you are not certain of what infected you the best is to ask for professional’s help.

  1. Go to urgent care near you.
  2. Get physical examinations and lab tests.
  3. Wait and listen to your doctor’s instructions or prescriptions.
  4. You can do the first aid if you have the courage and knowledge to do it while waiting for a doctor. It will depend on what symptoms you have.
