Nondiscrimination
Kinder complies with applicable federal civil-rights laws and does not discriminate, exclude people, or treat them less favorably on the basis of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency or primary language), sex, age, or disability.
Free assistance
Kinder provides reasonable modifications for individuals with disabilities and appropriate auxiliary aids and services, including qualified interpreters and information in alternate formats, free of charge and in a timely manner when needed. Kinder also provides qualified language interpreters and translated information free of charge when reasonably necessary to provide meaningful access.
Grievances
If you believe Kinder failed to provide these services or discriminated, file a grievance with the Privacy Officer at 732-917-4454, info@kinderpeds.com, or KPUC LLC d/b/a Kinder Pediatric Urgent Care, 65 Route 1 South, Metuchen, NJ 08840. Assistance with filing is available. Filing does not affect care or result in retaliation.
File a civil-rights complaint
You may also file with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, through the OCR Complaint Portal, at 1-800-368-1019 or 1-800-537-7697 (TDD), or by writing to Centralized Case Management Operations, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 200 Independence Avenue SW, Room 509F HHH Building, Washington, DC 20201.
